Approval Process

Every application goes through five independent, thorough screening rounds — so support reaches the right person, in the right circumstances, at the right time.

05 application review rounds

Five rounds of review, one transparent list

Every application passes through all five independent rounds before a child officially joins the Fund.

01
Round 01

Application Intake

The Fund receives applications for orphaned children in difficult circumstances, referred by readers and benefactors, then proceeds to gather initial information.

02
Round 02

Scoring & Application Classification

The Approval Committee calls referrers to verify information, completes any missing details, then scores and classifies applications against the published scoring rubric.

03
Round 03

Field Survey & Direct Interview

Based on financial resources and sponsorship targets, the Approval Committee selects qualified applications (ranked highest to lowest) for an in-person field survey and direct interview.

04
Round 04

Approval Committee Finalises the List

All Approval Committee members discuss each case and decide the quarterly list of orphaned children to be sponsored.

05
